PROJECT 1
In this assignment, we learned to diagram architectural principles by abstracting and simplifying ideas for easy understanding. We investigated the creation of architecture and spaces, focusing on design intentions and the making of architectural elements like solids, planes, lines, and frames. We used diagrammatic models to express architectural ideas.
PROJECT 2
In this project, we designed a Nature Observatory Post within the National Botanical Garden to enhance visitors' connection with the botanical garden's ecosystem. The post, accommodating two people within 50 square meters aims to focus on bird watching activities. The design incorporates innovative concepts, sustainable materials, and technologies, emphasizing accessibility and environmental stewardship, while demonstrating thoughtful planning and creativity in line with architectural principles.
PROJECT 3
For the final task, We designed a habitable retreat for ourselves and like-minded individuals,Having a 300-400 sqm site boundaries that included the previously designed observatory post. This project deepened our understanding of architectural principles, design concepts, and processes by focusing on creating user-specific architectural spaces, exploring the relationship between users, site context and spatial experience.
